Commonized Exo-Suit and Power Armor Attachments of the Colonial Pact

The following are common attachment points and related mountable systems used by the Colonial Pact Trade Alliance and any client state that chooses to adopt the standardization.

Back Flexi-Points

Either arching off of where the exo-suits or power armor's shoulder blades would be or off of standard backpack units most of these platforms have, the back flexipoint is a key system serving to allow the user to mount hands free weapon systems.

34A9-945 'Gadyuka' Modular Large Munition Flexi-Mount

Effectively a clamp on a semi-flexible elevation mount that can be fitted on to any backpack or back 'wing' mount on exo-suits or power armor. It is adjustable and the following missile systems can be fitted to it when in a sealed round canister configuration.

37A9-960 'Zmeya' Modular Light Munition Flexi-Mount

A light weight containerized launcher for use on back 'wing' or backpack flexi-mount points, like the 34A9 it is an elevation only system allowing the user to 'store' it folded back flush against their back. Here it can either be fired as a VLS system or be angled upward to fire direct on a target.

20A9-980 'Muskul' Non-Rigid Secondary Weapon Arm Mount

A fully mobile flex arm system that can mount any and all Colonial Pact small arms, equipped with a fully autonomous targeting system it can effectively either act as an additional firing weapon or as an independent system firing at any targets that pop up within a designated area.

Shoulder Hard Mounts

Mounted onto the shoulder pauldrons or directly onto the plating of the major shoulder pieces of a power armor. These are typically fixed type mountings with launcher systems or various optical or point defense systems.

29A7-980 'Oko' Active Laser Point Defense System

  • Average Output - 2.5 MW Per Second

Effectively a reduced capacity and lower power version of the ML4A6 Rapid Focus X-Ray laser system, it consists of a single optical 'eye' piece consisting of a targeting and laser optic. It is primarily intended as a teitary weapon for downing mini-missile systems, rockets, and lower end missile systems.

47A9-977 'Verga' ECM Dispenser System

An eighty 10 mm tube launcher ( that can be mounted on the shoulder or pauldron of most power armor and exosuit systems, it's munitions are standardized on a 10×30 mm canister of which a 3rd are 'dumb' type flares, another 3rd consists of 'dumb' type chaff, and the last third consists of multi-spectral smoke rounds capable of expanding to a 20 m radius sphere in roughly five seconds.

Rear Lumbar Hard Mounts

Mounted on the back 'lumbar' attachment points of most power armor and exo-suits, these are typically employed as fixed rigid mounts for additional systems that either act as munition storage or additional maneuvering equipment. .

47A9-977B 'Verga-2' ECM Dispenser System

A variant of the Verga intended as a larger general purpose dispenser, it employs the same 10 mm diameter cartridges but this time in a one hundred cell 'brick' style launcher mounted on the back side of the power armor. Able to extend or fold akin to a pair of insect wings they are primarily used when the shoulder mounting point is occupied by a point defense system.

49A6-965 'Zmeya-2' Micro Missile Launcher

Of a similar arrangement to the 'Verga-2' in employing a retractable launch system that will open outward akin to an insect wing, it features twenty five launch cells capable of handling v100nmicro_missile or similar sized munitions.

Magnetic Munition Storage

Consisting of two magnetic extensions that reach down roughly a foot and a half, they can be configured to mount a variety of explosives, magazines, and grenades as a quick reach storage system for the power armor or exosuits main and secondary weapons. They can also be configured to store other items such as supplies, materials, and or things the user might need in the field.

Flight and Zero Gravity Maneuvering Module

A pair of low angled wing like extensions that can be folded against the power armor's backpack module, they rectangular extensions mostly composed of fuel tank and are tipped with plasma type maneuvering ducts on the ends. They are intended to assist in acceleration, attitude control, and general maneuvering in space flight and in the upper atmosphere. When expended they can be blown free of the power armor body.

Side Calf Hard Mounts

Located on the outer part of the lower legs of the power armor, these are hard fixed point mounts often used for small munition launchers or various ECM dispenser systems.

51A6-966 'Zmeya-3' Calf Micro Missile Launcher

Mounted on the outside calf hardpoint used by most Colonial Pact power armor it is somewhat rounded and conformal against the leg of the armor and features nine cells capable of handling v100nmicro_missile or similar sized munitions. Once expended it can be reloaded in combat conditions or jettisoned by the exosuit or power armor operator if needed.

47A9-977B 'Verga-3' Calf ECM Dispenser System

A sixty 10 mm tube launcher that can be mounted on the calf of most power armor and exosuit systems, it's munitions are standardized on a 10×30 mm canister of which a twenty are 'dumb' type flares, another twenty consists of 'dumb' type chaff, and the last twenty consists of multi-spectral smoke rounds capable of expanding to a 20 m radius sphere in roughly five seconds.

Wrist Modular Mounts

Items typically mounted onto wrist hardpoints are found and described in this section.

Wrist Mounted Laser Cutter

A high power pulsed infrared laser system intended to cut through deckworks and metallic barriers with a minimum of effort, it is mostly employed by individuals that may find a need to defeat decking, armored hatches, and other barriers that are typically armored. It is capable of burning through most forms of metallic armor at close range at an average of one inch per three seconds. It is typically mounted on top of a armor's wrist hard point system on the arm holding the user's dominate use hand.

ESC-Type Information Warfare Package

A very compact ESC-78 type computer system equipped with various weaponized algorithms and direct hard line and wireless communication capabilities. It is used for electronic and information warfare applications and is capable of invading shipboard and installation type networks. It is separate from the main armor systems in order to prevent a counter intrusion system from crippling or killing the operative. When used this unit typically wraps around the entire wrist section of the armor.

72A7-980 Monowire Suppressed Grapple Gun System

A system which takes up the entirety of the wrist area when mounted, it features a low power asynchronous accelerator paired with a harpoon system linked to a thousand feet of 0.05 mm monowire capable of supporting up to three tons. It is used in situations where flight or more noisy climbing activities may be prohibitive for armor operations. Additionally a more insidious use is as a offensive weapon for rapidly closing the distance between the armor and targets or bringing the target to them by directly targeting hostile units.
