Transferable Currency and Items of the Colonial Pact

This page covers the three primary forms of readily transferable currency that are in circulation within the Colonial Pact Trade Alliance.

Pact National Colonial Credit (CC)

Known as the Pact National Colonial Credit or 'CC', it is a fiat currency moderated and controlled by the Federal Government and backed by their will. Being a fiat currency its value can vary depending on confidence in the nation's economy and the fiscal condition of the state. However being a fiat currency also allows its much wider use then bond-trust and rare mineral backed currencies making it the standard currency across all of the Colonial Pact.

  • Value Variation Over 50 Years - 15.7%
  • Value to the Pact Callenite Credit - 55,450 CC per 1 PCC (As of NCC00999)
  • Denominations
    • 0.01 CC 'Oda' Coin
    • 0.05 CC 'Kurk' Coin
    • 0.10 CC 'Nez' Coin
    • 1 CC 'Yer' Note
    • 5 CC 'Veza' Note
    • 10 CC 'Durv' Note
    • 20 CC 'Urva' Note
    • 100 CC 'Kerni' Note

Pact Callenite Credit (PCC)

Also known as the Pact Callenite Credit or 'PCC' is backed by the value of the government's stock of Callenite and its associated value, by law the government is mandated to maintain this stockpile and in the event of its use replace the lost portions. Due to the relatively fixed value of Callenite and its continuous economic need across the nation its value has barely changed over centuries, as such it makes it a popular means to protect ones wealth. However due to its fixed nature and high conversion rate from the general national currency it is rarely used in general domestic use.

  • Value Variation Over 50 Years - 1.1%
  • Value to the Pact Callenite Credit - N/A

Recognized Currencies and Trade Values

At the present time there are no foreign currencies recognized officially by the Colonial Pact due to lack of official first contacts and the associated trade and transfer agreements.

Third Party Trade Values for Currencies

While the Pact doesn't presently recognize any foreign currencies, third party money changers and other organizations are still willing to exchange the various pieces of transferable currencies and items of value however. The results are drawn from intelligence reports of both government and corporate origin concerning exchange rates in the frontier systems and beyond. Below is listed the value of one Pact National Colonial Credit versus the documented currencies from these third party money exchanges.
