One of the primary full sized cartridges in use by both the military and civil security forces of the Colonial Pact. It is a caseless electrically fired rifle type 'brick' primarily employed on 'leg' infantry weapons, personal weapons used by civil security contractors, and private owners.

A high performance spitzer type round with a high density armor piercing core.

97A8-800-R3 (JHP) Jacketed Hollow Point

A low penetration expanding round consisting of a thin denser metal semi-jacketed round a softer denser metal forged to expand and deform on impact. It is primarily intended for soft targets such as personnel that are unarmored or in softer non-rigid body armor.

97A8-800-S1 (SAPHE) Semi-Armor Piercing High Explosive Incendiary

A lightweight anti-material cartridge using both kinetic energy and chemical explosive to produce thermal and explosive damage to the target. Consisting of a light armor piercing core backed by a incendiary delayed fuse device which produces a thermite like effect when initiated. Its primary use is against equipment, exo-suit equipped troops, and moderate to heavily armored opponents.

97A8-800-S2 (HEI) High Explosive Incendiary

A dual high explosive and incendiary effects round with a contact fused charge, it's primary purpose is to serve as a general purpose anti-material round. It consists of a contact high explosive cartridge with an incendiary sleeve which is ignited on impact.
