The Cascadium - Waypoint Gate Excursion Event occurs with both systems vanishing from the observable Sundala Timeline universe.

Est 2 Billion B.C.
'The Vanishing' occurs in the A.D.S.E. reality and all of both the Ozymandian Alien Empire and Quasi-Biological Species are cast across multiple alternate universes by what are later designated by human researchers as 'Non-Dimensional Entities'. It is theorized that some of the technology being employed by both during a possible war may have influenced things beyond our current dimension and resulted in a 'reaction'. A significant number of both were cast into the realty that would later become designated as the 'Neu Era' timeline by arriving Sundala Humans who where stranded by a similar event. One result of this cataclysm was one fragmentary AI of the QB species was put on a course that would bring it into the Solar System.

1900 A.D.
The QB AI fragment enters the solar system, interactions with Jupiter cause its construction to break into two pieces, one large and one small. The smaller one would be redirected by the event while the other would continue on its course and soon enter a gravitational keyhole which puts it on a collision course toward earth.

1908 A.D.
The larger fragment falls toward earth and explodes over Tunguska showering the area with it's fragments, due to its remoteness and isolated nature nobody will realize what has arrived until decades later.

1947 A.D.
The smaller fragment, after a long series of looping orbits, is finally drawn down to earth and impacts mostly intact in the high desert of the western United States. It is the item responsible for the Roswell Incident and is soon taken into custody by the government for examination and research after a large scale coverup. While the object itself was complete inactive the technology and innovation one could draw from examination would soon take the United States and mankind into a new era, launching from vacuum tubes to solid state electronics and more.

1956 A.D.
Drawn by unusual electromagnetic activity in the region as well as intelligence gleaned from the West, an expedition led by a secretive department of the Soviet Interior Ministry discovers the alien fragments buried in the mud and swamp of the Tunguska region. Using the vast slave labor available via the gulag system the project unearths countless small pieces of extraterrestrial artifacts and ships them to a remote site for research. Unlike the Americans their objects are strangely active and almost resist being studied. However some insights are gleaned from their examination and are reflected in Soviet breakthroughs of the time.

1993 A.D.
The fall of the Soviet Union and the acquisition of the Soviet fragments.

The Lazarus Commission begins quietly amassing resources with the goal of preparing for what the AI

First contact with the ADNE Era Vitari Commerce Federation is made via 'uptime' representatives who were among those caught in the Excursion Event. Misrepresenting themselves as a long lost group of colonists they discover that certain events from the ADSE timeline are still present, in this case the impending invasion of the Drecken System and the general Alliance indifference though some factions of the Edixi are apparently operating on and around the main habitable world of the system.

The Shil'vati make their move with the arrival of an invasion fleet, two UAS fast attack stealth ships employ munitions coded to look like Alliance weapons and inflict enough losses with stand off munitions that the invasion attempt is abandoned.

Small elements of the downtime VCF ruling council meet with their uptime counterparts and discuss further terms.

An Edixi special operations outfit manages to reach out and make contact, meeting with their own uptime stranded counterparts and with them… a former United States Marine Sergeant who defected during the Raknos operation. He meets his uptime counterparts face to face and briefs them on the earth situation.

Quasi aware from scattered and hacked Imperial communications and distinctly dreading the chance that Earth may exist in this timeline, a space action group is staged to get a stealth ship into where the Sol System should be.

A month after the Sergeant's brief, the command group at Cascade has live imagery of an Imperial occupied earth. Another week later with full AI penetration of its networks they have the entirety of the situation from the invasion in 2019, to the occupation, to the death toll, to various estimated Interior viewpoints on the human question and various 'solutions'.

A buried operation is discovered, known as 'Project Fair Weather', one that involves the capture and forced relocation of what the Imperial authorities considering disruptive or potentially dangerous individuals to the process of Imperial integration. Mostly consisting of military survivors, government workers who specialized in various intelligence operations, and later the more disruptive and capable of dissidents and insurgents. It is implied they are effectively black bagged and taken off world to various isolated potential human colony sites, mostly under the control of a high ranking interior agent with various supporters in the Imperial Navy and Marines.
