Building upon the original intelligence ‘scrape’ done by the UASV Grayback, an infiltration and operations support AI is injected by the same vessel into the planetary and orbital network employed by the Shil on Earth. It’s main tasking is to effectively monitor all probable insurgency operators and gently nudge situations to ensure a higher rate of survival. This effort is especially targeted at surviving US, Mexican, and Canadian military personnel, the AI utilizing behavioral and personal history patterns on top of the list kept by the Shil’vati of said personnel. It’s secondary objective is to act as the ‘man in the middle’ through various human and Shil’vati hardware to permit encrypted untraceable communications.

One of the first contacted is General Paul D. Ripper, USAF, and primary head on the hydra that is the Free Army of Colorado and the general resistance elements in the rocky mountain theater. One of the main organizations responsible for keeping the rockies either black or red by Imperial ‘safety’ classifications.

Named for the Revolutionary War hero Francis Marion, Operation MARION would be the beginning of Ghost Fleet’s intervention on the North American continent and would serve as a roadmap for any future endeavors elsewhere on Earth. With contact established and some vetting done by both boots on the ground (Marine STRIKE teams deployed by stealth dropship and Omicron Special Detachment troops in plainclothes) and via AI ‘snooping’ that the Imperials could only dream of. The first contact was carried out by a Major of the UAMC direct with one of General Ripper’s own surviving Majors. Terms where set, agreements made, and the start of site selection for stage three was begun.

The primary item traded at this meeting on a mountain top was several cases of AN/PCS-201 encrypted handheld digital COM sets. For the first time the FAC had fully secure digital communications.

Operation Beaufort remains one of the most complicated deployments in UAMC history, in both their home timeline and the current one. The goal was simple, the deployment of operational support bases in the Colorado Rockies, Montana, Idaho, and Nevada. What remained was determining sites in which would be both appropriate to their needs and to the complication of needing steep sloping hills to employ holographic cloaking equipment to hide them from the ever watching presence of the Shil’vati’s Navy. Both Omicron Teams and trusted local operators from General Ripper’s network where employed in concert with orbital scans from the UASV Grayback. Sixteen sites where selected, ten where discarded due to ‘tourist’ activity of both human and Imperial types. Of the remaining six, two were in Colorado, three across Idaho and Montana and a singular site in western Nevada.

Nearly a month is spent shuttling supplies from the fleet to orbit via stealth craft during periods of low naval activity and then down to the surface via stealth dropship. But in the end Ghost Fleet personnel are now on the surface of their homeworld providing arms, training, medical support not tied to Imperial medical facilities, and above all… material and manufacturing support.

During the course of the Colorado drops a group of insurgents on the front slope are sighted, a satellite organization to the FAC, they are being pursued in a do or die manner by a group of Colorado Sector Militia. Outnumbered and being herded into a box canyon the marines supervising this load after witnessing the tactics the insurgents employed decide to intervene and risk being spotted. Jamming the Imperial COMs and dropping in behind the IMPMIL unit, they annihilate them and make contact with the survivors before extracting them to what was designated by then as Camp Wildfire.

An initial funnel of Ghost Fleet weapon systems along with instructors are sent into the various Camps, engineers are also deployed to begin adapting homebrew options to enhance existing firepower to deal with Shil’vati protective systems.

Under the watchful eye of the Operation Miranda Infiltration AI and with now Task Force Hurricane’s squadron of stealth dropships, goods and material are slowly funneled out to organizations based in yellow and green zones whom at the insistence of Ripper have kept their heads down for nearly ten years. The largest goal being to preserve them and their views as Imperial teachings have grown to be the standard in the new mandatory education environment of the now occupied United States. Know that should they vanish into a Interior internment camp or worse that their little piece of mankind’s future would grow up under the shaping and molding of the Shil’vati.

Miranda data, overhead flights of stealth craft, and insurgency intelligence is gathered and fused into a complete picture of the past, current, and future of the Imperial Occupation of North America with special projects, Marine deployments, and individual militia and governess activities. It reveals a long slow grind down of the human spirit with a relentless carrot and stick approach.

Newly trained USTERCOM (United States Terrestrial Combatants) and NAVSPECWAR fleet operatives begin to infiltrate west, gone is the age of the simple insurgent, replaced with a cyber modded operative with full AI support through the Shil’vati’s own network. Their orders are simple, make contact with existing reseeded networks that grew up in the place of those taken down early in the war by a singular informant designated as Topaz (Konnie/Cryptid) and begin to further develop them.

Further development of the West Coast resistance networks stood up by General Ripper after the earlier Interior purges, the injection of new personnel bringing with new training brought by both USTERCOM troops and Fleet operatives.

Mapping and plotting of all Interior, and Militia operations in the theater, including prisoner handling and holding sites, supply caches, primary centers of gravity in support operations (central equipment and personnel points that forces can sortie from) and develop strike plans for all the above.

Mapping and plotting of all Imperial economic targets and centers of gravity in the area of operations.

Developing a list of all Shil’vati nobility in the area of operations including their tendencies, leanings, essential assets, and then develop a kill or capture list.

Determine primary MSRs for future major mechanized operations.

Establish main support plans for the taking of the two major space ports capable of handling military ship traffic on the west coast, those located in San Diego and Seattle respectively.

Like the West Coast operation, it is the push out of newly trained USTERCOM operatives and NAVSPECWAR personnel into existing insurgent networks bringing with them training and communications links for both encrypted COMs and for the covert shipment of Ghost Fleet equipment. The primary goal being the build up of indigenous forces in the Midwest from a minor nuisance into a true USTERCOM main force entity from Colorado to the Mississippi River. The mainline objectives of this operation will include the gradual slow down and halting of surface based supply corridors using I-70, I-35, I-90, and I-40.

Selection of potential recruits for GHOSTFLEET or for long term training to be converted into GHOSTFLEET Regular Surface Combatants (REGSURCOM) personnel. These will be transported off world to selected staging colonies where they will undergo abbreviated training in UAS equipment, tactics, and method before being organized and then staged for covert return to CONUS.

Primary Goals

Large scale terrestrial targeting and termination of notable officials (both human and Shil'vati), nobility involved with economic exploitation both on the surface and throughout the solar system, and the families of both. The latter due to the Imperial tendency of economic activities being directly helmed by hereditary relatives and this tendency bleeding over into acclimated and assimilated Blue Zone human officials.
