With orbital support now fighting for it's life the ground game for the UACM and the Vitari Defense Forces begins, from well hidden underground bunkers and holdfasts roughly an entire intact army group emerges onto the surface ahead of the rapidly advancing Imperial ground force. Battle begins roughly an hour past midnight local time when elements of the 905th Imperial Legion run head first into dug in elements of the UAS Marine 45th Armored Combat Group. In twenty minutes three companies of Imperial Marines are immolated by their human counterparts. Mobile units are further cut free to begin maneuvering against the advancing Imperial forces.
