- Most existing structures of non-historical value or tourist value are typically demolished, the nobility in control of the zone wanted a 'clean slate' to establish 'true' Shil'vati civilization.
- Due to the intended nature of most blue zones as safe areas for Imperial citizens to visit earth the building and structures typically favor form over function.
- Extensive enhancement and rebuilding of the transportation networks resulting in a mixed road/rail/pedestrian system oriented on efficiency rather than ease of personal travel (though the nobility will still enjoy their own safe travel lanes). (Japanese?)
- Full zone wide wireless datanet access, though obviously heavily monitored with the exception of devices held by the nobility.
- Robust and redundant power/water/sewer infrastructure with multiple facilities laid out in an efficient grid with overflow and backup options.
- Extremely clean, either by automated methods or by green zone human workers allowed to work inside the blue zone.
- Upper standards access to Imperial medical care.
