  • Defensive military positions established for defending civilian evacuation routes and points.
  • Major power production and transmission infrastructure.
  • Previously missed communications sites.
    
    (Nuclear Yield Equivalent - 50-100 Kilotons per target.)
    Laser and kinetic weaponry were employed albeit with lower mass and power output respectively due to the tactical and less hardened nature of their targets. Millions will end up perishing in these salvos, mostly due to the more wide spread nature of the strikes as well as fleeing civilian populations clustering around military sites for assistance.
