Factions and Entities of the Sundala Starzone

The United American Systems (UAS), also referred to as the American Colonial Arm, is a restricted sufferage multi-star system democratic constitutional republic. Located in the coreward expanse of the Sundala Starzone, it's territories cover fifty-five star systems divided into six regional sectors. A successor state to the now extinct United American Continental Federation of the Solar System, several of it's political systems live on in the UAS.

also known as the American Arm, is a multi-system sector controlled by a federalized republic located across the coreward expanse of the Sundala Starzone. Like the other human powers of the starzone it began with six warp capable colony cylinders, each constructed by survivors of the United American Continental Federation alongside the remnants of other Solar System powers. They arrived at four designated system sites, these systems would go on to be named Carolina, New Columbia, Nogales, and Durango forming the core of the UAS. These initial four entities developed independently of one another and through various events, including at least two major revolutions against authoritarian colonial governments, they eventually coalesced into a singular star state forming the federal system seen today.

In pre-Invasion times by territory controlled (both inhabited and resource systems) the UAS sits at fourth largest, only ahead of the State of Shinkai-koku. Centered on its core of four systems, the UAS has expanded into both an 'outer colonial halo' of half a dozen well developed colonies and three main development frontier arms. These frontier arms each contain roughly a dozen systems and are still considered frontier systems with a lower population but rapidly developing industry and infrastructure.
