The basic form of life support employed from personal life support systems, to exo-suits, to power armor. It consists of a two part system, the first being the various means inside the suit itself including those which handle the breathing gas mixtures and control the suits interior temperature. The other being the canister itself which contains a high density mixture of the gasses needed for human life in a solid form and a general use NBC/CO2 filter. This life support system is capable of dealing with most conventional forms of hazards via keeping the user in their own sealed atmosphere. When expended the external canister can be swapped easily.
'CLS' type systems are primarily used on Colonial Pact Trade Alliance military, civil security, and commercial power armor and suits. However life support systems of this type are often provided to client states or trusted private interests.
