FMR-780 Heavy Infantry Linear Rifle


General Information


The FMR-780 Heavy Infantry Linear Rifle is a liquid helium cooled electronically operated linear rifle with select fire capability and is chambered in a heavy 13.5mm semi-saboted caseless EM projectile. It fires this round from a combination motorized 20 round magazine with a built in battery pack to operate the weapon's linear acceleration motor. As stated above the weapon is electrically operated with a computer control system to manage the rifle's various systems.

Features

  • Top Rail
    • The FMR-780 features only one fixed item that a user cannot remove, this being a receiver top mounted rail attachment system with a powered smart link attachment. This system can mount a wide variety of optics and assorted systems that can be linked to the user either via a grip system link or very short range wireless.
  • Folding Stock (Capable of being folded across either side of the rifle.)
