The Sol System, mankind's beginning, however the situation doesn't line up with the stellar positions of 2889 and the presence of Imperial vessels triggers a deeper more covert exploration. To their horror they discover a 21st century earth inhabited by their forbearers under Imperial occupation. With this knowledge the fleet slips out into deeper space before discovery but not before compromising the in-system communications network with an offensive intelligence gathering AI. | ||
