+      *Retreat to St. Louis: Leads ragtag defense with National Guard remnants, wife and family are in the logistical tail of the unit.
+      *Fall of St. Louis, his wife Dr. Lena Greene (25) dies in orbital strike.
+      *He finds his surviving children in the basement of an adhoc hospital after finding his wife remains in a blown open pediatric ward.... carbon shadows on the wall from the stirke.
+      *Surviving children Sophie (4) and John (2) survive in the basement.
+      *He collects them, buries his wife, keeps her ring, and begins to move out west toward the mountains and possible surviving military remnants.
+      *They get sick, almost get captured by the Shil'vati who are gathering anyone they find in camps, and they nearly starve to death.
+      *They make it to Gunnison before the winter sets in fully and take shelter with a surviving group of Marines and Army personnel in a off map cold war bunker.

+      *The Erbians arrive and effectively curtail most of the Shil'vati access to the redzones citing environmental recovery efforts and the simple fact that humanity is now an endangered species. Victor and his family continue to survive.
