+The RBM-990 Carbine or 'Raza' Carbine is an 8mm binary stage chem-linear weapon system employing an 8mm semi-cased cartridge. It is an air cooled, magazine fed, electrically operated selective fire bullpup weapon that feeds from a motorized 75-round box magazine. It is intended as a short to medium range weapon due to its relatively short length and is primarily used by personnel in secondary roles or by special operations troops needing a compact weapon. However in overall selection it tends to be a secondary weapon as the Kist family of rifles and carbines are the primary issued systems of the Colonial Pact.
