The ENQ-778V is a standard 'stackable' modular quantum computing core roughly the size and shape of a small personal refrigerator. Its primary use is the central computer system on board a wide variety of vehicles, starcraft, small to moderate sized surface installations, and even lower grade civil starship designs. Its primary uses include vehicle control and management, fire control, command navigation, FTL jump calculation, and a wide variety of other tasks needed for small craft operations.

The ENQ-778V's casing has three linkages, one for power and coolant input, one for data input, and one for linking to other ENQ-778V units to boost the possible computing power of the units. The casing is composed of a hardened composite of ceramic and various metals layered to endure punishment, there are also various layers of shielding to prevent both the escape of current from the interior and the penetration of the computer case by scalar and electromagnetic emissions be they man made or natural.
