An interesting behavior utilized by [[colonial_pact:colonial_pact_coverpage]] munitions which can either be programmed before munition launch or be initiated by remote or by the weapon itself. It effectively turns a large group of guided weapons into a combined networked swarm system, each exchanging data and working together to bring the maximum effect on the target. Cooperating, prioritizing certain targets, and operating in a 'pack' like behavior, and even changing their flight paths to come in on different bearings. All are behaviors programmed into the swarm mode, however one of particular note is the capability of all systems within the swarm switching off their active sensors and relying on one or two to continue to illuminate the target. Effectively reducing the emissions for a vessel to orient itself on and reducing the ability of the targeted vessel to counter the swarm.
